The role partners with the business to maximize profits for shareholders and owners and drives innovation to deliver an industry-leading, efficient finance organization.What will I be doing?The Director of Finance is responsible for understanding and driving the hotel's financial performance, performing all finance activities within the policy, regulatory, and contractual framework.The role involves partnering with the General Manager and developing strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders, including Hotel Finance, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Human Resources, Operations, Shared Service Centers (if applicable), Owners, Asset Managers, and Regional Operations Finance.
The Director of Finance will work closely with all Business Partners to develop top-tier hotel finance teams, including participation in relevant finance development programs.You will also ensure compliance with the management agreement for the hotel by implementing appropriate processes and procedures and reporting any non-compliance issues to your supervisor.What are we looking for?Strategic thinker with the ability to set effective goals, objectives, and priorities with a long-term perspectiveStrong communication and negotiation skills (with all management levels and external clients)Financial and operational analytical skills (including operational analysis)Knowledge of departmental and hotel operationsJudgment in evaluating situations and making sound decisionsAbility to analyze and interpret financial dataLeadership and organizational skills (team-oriented, flexible, adaptable)Ability to analyze large volumes of complex financial information from multiple sources and produce reports, forecasts, and projectionsProficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Additional Preferences : University degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (e.g., CIMA)Experience at hotel level or within the industryWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, offering a range of accommodations from luxury full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
