Position

The Director of Brand Management will be crucial in aligning and stewarding Bridgespan's brand strategy.

This role entails maintaining a resonant and consistent visual identity, developing compelling collateral for business development and relationship building, and creating assets that reinforce our reputation with clients, funders, staff, and stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of External Engagement, the Director will oversee a team of three and collaborate with various leadership and teams across the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Refresh and uphold visual brand standards across all platforms.
  2. Create guidelines and templates for presentations, publications, website, and newsletters.
  3. Develop and enforce policies on brand usage.
  4. Train staff on brand standards.
  5. Review and refine brand strategy periodically.
  6. Update business development collateral in collaboration with leadership.
  7. Lead the creation of high-quality print and digital assets, including annual reports, videos, impact stories, marketing materials, and staff bios.
  8. Draft content for various assets and identify external support when necessary.
  9. Support crisis communication efforts.
  10. Manage internal workflows and external contractors effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Over 10 years of experience, including at least 4 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Background in marketing within professional services preferred.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or higher degree preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing organizational branding.
  • Exceptional communication and copywriting skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning and daily operations management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams and fostering inclusive environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to coordinate across US and Asia time zones.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and budget management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
