Requirements
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) as recognized by SAQA in Human Resource Management/Public Administration or an equivalent qualification.
- A certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) obtained from the National School of Government (NSG); submission prior to appointment is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in a similar environment. Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are also required.
Duties
- Manage human resource provisioning processes, including development and monitoring of policies and procedures related to recruitment, retention, advertisement, selection, appointments, induction, placement, and terminations.
- Provide service benefits in accordance with the Public Service Act and Regulations. Oversee placement policy administration, remuneration management, and auxiliary support services at Head Office. Handle retention and termination functions in line with relevant prescripts.
- Manage corporate wear, human resources, finances, assets, and performance information.
- Perform other human resources-related duties as required.
