Job description

The HR Director will oversee all HR functions at Sun International, ensuring alignment with the business strategy, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring legal compliance. The role will require executive-level collaboration, driving employee engagement, talent management, and leading key HR projects to support business objectives.

Key Stakeholders:

Internal: Board of Directors, Senior Management, Unit HR Teams, Cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, etc.)

External: Suppliers, Vendors, Consultants, Regulatory authorities, Unions

Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR Strategy: Drive HR practices that align with business goals, enhance engagement, and support organizational growth.
  • Talent & Performance Management: Oversee compensation, rewards, succession planning, and talent development to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Organizational Change & Culture: Lead HR initiatives to foster a positive work culture, manage change, and drive diversity and inclusion programs.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, manage HR reporting, and align processes with company policies and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 15-20 years in HR, including 5+ years in an executive or senior management role, with strong expertise in labor laws and employee relations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Labour Law, or related field; MBA or Business Leadership qualification is a plus.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead HR teams, manage change, and drive organizational performance.
  • Strategic & Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business strategy, HR operations, compliance, and talent management practices.
