Director of Consulting & Analytics SubSaharan Africa

Location : Hybrid 23 office days per week)

Job Overview :

Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Consulting & Analytics for a senior leadership role within their SubSaharan Africa consulting team. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in delivering datadriven consultative solutions with a strong focus on payments banking and cards . Experience in these areas is crucial and nonnegotiable . This role will involve driving growth in the Digital and Commercial practice areas developing strategies for new product offerings managing client relationships and overseeing largescale projects across the region.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and design datadriven consulting programs focusing on new products strategy digital innovation and commercial services.
• Solve complex strategic challenges and create actionable roadmaps for client program delivery.
• Manage large multimarket projects ensuring collaboration and synergies across teams.
• Work closely with Product Marketing and Client Services teams to ensure seamless delivery of consulting services.
• Drive business development through consultative sales and the successful delivery of projects.
• Mentor junior team members and promote the adoption of global best practices.
• Oversee project budgets resources and timelines to ensure successful outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and risk management protocols.

Required Qualifications :

• 12 years of experience in financial services or consulting specifically in payments cards or banking . Experience in these areas is nonnegotiable .
• Strong client management and consulting skills with proven ability to influence senior management.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel ; superior project management skills.
• Extensive experience working in a multicultural environment with crossfunctional teams.
• Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Leadership & Personal Skills :

• Proven ability to demonstrate integrity and a constructive approach to business challenges.
• Skilled in stakeholder influence and leading change management initiatives .
• Strong problemsolving decisionmaking and team management abilities.
