Role Profile

Director, Commercial FRONTLINE

Key Working Parameters:

The key Commercial Partner for the Franchise & Bottling System in the market. Lead the integration of the Commercial Strategy & Levers into our End-to-End process, plans, and strategies within the Franchise to deliver joint System Value. Act as the key Commercial System protagonist and partner, driving strategic commercial thought leadership. Collaborate closely with Frontline Marketing to ensure commercial integration into marketing plans.

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

Lead and drive the integrated Commercial agenda in the Franchise & Bottling system, ensuring End-to-End Integration. Build and develop the Commercial ABP for the Franchise, partnering with Franchise & Bottler to create detailed support plans. Prioritize Commercial priorities quarterly, ensure the right BBM model and pack architecture are in place, leveraging the "On Demand Hub" for impactful scenarios. Act as the Commercial Thought Leader and Integrator for the Franchise, representing challenges, opportunities, and capabilities. Recruit resources based on priorities from the "On Demand Hub" (e.g., Affordability, Premium, Channel, RGM X, RTM & Digital). Represent the Commercial Agenda in Group System Forums. Provide input and approval for Marketing Campaigns, ensuring integration into marketing plans. Contribute to Commercial Strategies (e.g., ABC of Execution, Affordability, Premium).

Key Success Parameters:

Experience:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in Commercial, with skills in Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, Segmentation, Route to Market, Negotiation.
  • Proven track record of execution excellence.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience in Bottling System/Franchise and/or Commercial roles is desirable.

Deliverables:

  • Implement the Commercial Strategy for the market - ABP.
  • Drive the Commercial Agenda in the Franchise/Market.
  • Deliver prioritized commercial goals quarterly, ensuring impactful resource deployment.
  • Collaborate with the Franchise to meet business and commercial metrics.
  • Leverage teams in Affordability, Premium, & RGM X to address key business challenges and opportunities.
  • Approve and provide input on all Marketing Campaigns and the Picture of Success.
  • Act as the key Commercial System protagonist, leading strategic commercial thought leadership.

Work Focus:

  • Requires strong System acumen, business understanding, and collaboration skills. Must influence Operations, Customers, and Bottlers positively.
  • Must combine analytical, strategic thinking, consumer, and commercial understanding with a hands-on approach.
  • Work closely with Senior Leaders, Operating Units, Customers, and Bottlers in a networked approach.
  • Drive cross-functional support and alignment to ensure OU strategies are fully owned by GMs.

Communication Focus:

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, key Customers, and Bottling partners at senior levels.
  • Interface with Customer & Commercial Leadership and Franchise Leadership at various levels.
  • Engage with external senior leaders of major customers, advisors, and stakeholders for business development.
