About the Role

You’ll lead the Impact strategy, driving communications, government relations, sustainability, and social impact initiatives for the South African market. Reporting to the Executive Leadership team, you’ll advise on reputational risk, develop stakeholder strategies, and champion governance and sustainability goals that deliver real value for people and the planet.

What You’ll Do

Design and deliver an integrated Impact strategy and governance framework.

Lead stakeholder engagement with government, media, NGOs, and key partners.

Advise leadership on reputational risks and build crisis management plans.

Champion sustainability and social impact commitments.

Oversee external partners and agencies.

Develop and lead a high-performing Impact team and drive annual planning.

Build strong regional partnerships, aligning with global best practices.

What You Bring

Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Social Sciences, Public Affairs, International Relations or similar).

8–10 years’ senior experience in communications, sustainability, CSR, public affairs, or stakeholder management.

Proven success designing and delivering impactful initiatives.

Strong relationship and influence management skills across diverse stakeholders.

Strategic mindset, international cultural awareness, and adaptability.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
