Job description

Overall Responsibility: The FSM is tasked with new business in the Gauteng North region, as well as maintaining and growing existing relationships and accounts.

Weekly Call Cycles will be established to maximise the time spent in the trade.

The role focuses on the full spectrum of on-consumption, corporate retailers, franchise outlets and independent liquor chains.

Focus Area 1: Administration
  1. Determine pre-call planning objectives
  2. Compile daily / weekly reports
  3. Manage sales and administration
  4. Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries
Focus Area 2: Sales
  1. Implement and develop promotional activity to drive consistent pull in relation to the channel management process
  2. Influence liquor retail pricing within segments
  3. Maintain stock levels within segments
  4. Using Commercial conversations / arguments / calculations to influence
  5. Influence the placement of our products to maintain the best cold and ambient space
  6. Manage B.T.L placements
Focus Area 3: Outlet Service
  1. Develop great business relationships
  2. Maintain customer call rate and frequency
  3. Conduct regular account reviews
Requirements of the Role:
  1. Post Matric Qualification in Sales / Marketing
  2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales / Marketing in a FMCG environment
  3. Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver's license
  4. Basic knowledge of PC and Microsoft office
  5. Merchandising experience strongly preferred
  6. Regional languages competence
  7. Beverage industry experience strongly preferred
