Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of reservations experience in a tour operating environment
Professional interaction with suppliers and travel planners via phone and email
Creative itinerary planning and design
Handling and processing reservations from quote to finalization, including invoicing and travel documents
Providing exceptional service to direct guests
Proactively selling our products and services
Expanding product knowledge through training
Familiarity with destinations such as Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, and Seychelles
Understanding of FIT and group policies
Knowledge of safari offerings
Strong communication skills in English
Experience with the Tourplan reservations system is an advantage
Strong time management and computer proficiency
Understanding of the travel industry
Attention to detail and excellent written communication
High customer focus
Creativity, flexibility, energy, and patience
Independent, curious, and proactive nature
Participating in Saturday, public holiday, and cell phone duty on rotation
Working shifts (07:00 - 15:30 & 09:30 - 18:00) on rotation and acting as a backup for colleagues when needed
