You will be responsible for handling reservations from initial inquiry to final confirmation, ensuring seamless and personalized service.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of reservations experience in a tour operating environment
  • Professional interaction with suppliers and travel planners via phone and email
  • Creative itinerary planning and design
  • Handling and processing reservations from quote to finalization, including invoicing and travel documents
  • Providing exceptional service to direct guests
  • Proactively selling our products and services
  • Expanding product knowledge through training
  • Familiarity with destinations such as Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, and Seychelles
  • Understanding of FIT and group policies
  • Knowledge of safari offerings
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Experience with the Tourplan reservations system is an advantage
  • Strong time management and computer proficiency
  • Understanding of the travel industry
  • Attention to detail and excellent written communication
  • High customer focus
  • Creativity, flexibility, energy, and patience
  • Independent, curious, and proactive nature
  • Participation in Saturday, public holiday, and cell phone duty on rotation
  • Working shifts (07:30 & 09:00) on rotation and acting as a backup for colleagues when needed
