DIGITAL / SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETER

DIGITAL / SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETER / EAST LONDON – Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking to appoint a Digital / Social Media Marketer. Applicants MUST HAVE Matric and a Valid Driver's License.

Skills and Experience:

1. Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Marketing
2. Minimum of 3 years working experience in Graphic Design and Social Media Marketing
3. Fully computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
4. Experience in graphic design software e.g. CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
5. Good working knowledge of digital marketing tools - Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and relevant social media platforms
6. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines and achieving targets
7. Extremely motivated with a can-do approach
8. Strong administrative and budgeting skills
9. Valid Driver’s License

Duties and Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

1. Create advertising design and layout for print and social media
2. Take advertising briefs from concept to final product
3. Design and production of decals and vinyl finished product (Roland equipment), and application
4. Newsletter production
5. Provide suggestions and initiatives with creative outcomes

Social Media:

1. Manage online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness
2. Grow the company's social networks and expand its online presence
3. Able to produce social media content to stimulate existing audience and encourage additional followers
4. Monitor the online platforms and marketing initiatives, report and measure effectiveness
5. Lead generation - engage with potential leads and customers
6. Remain up to date with changes and developments in social media platforms

Marketing:

1. Assist with product launches, displays, and reveal initiatives
2. Video production and flighting
3. Support brand managers with their marketing functions
4. Maximise marketing and social media initiatives within a set budget
5. All advertising, marketing, and online costs to be recorded
6. Daily, weekly and monthly reports to be maintained and submitted

Salary: Market related (depending on experience)

Working Hours: M-F 07h45 to 17h15, and 1x Sat. morning per month.
