Digital Marketing Specialist - TotalEnergies South Africa

Location: South Africa (with support in Namibia and Eswatini)

Position Type: Regular

Experience: Minimum 6 years in digital marketing or related fields

Overview

The South African energy market is undergoing significant changes with new legislation. The petroleum industry operates within a regulated framework. TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa aims to strengthen its position in a competitive market by enhancing its digital presence.

Key Activities

  1. Lead the development and launch of innovative digital customer offers and experiences from concept to market.
  2. Manage customer-facing digital products in South Africa and support digital initiatives in Namibia and Eswatini.
  3. Localize digital platforms to collect customer information, generate insights, and engage customers for marketing programs.
  4. Oversee all aspects of digital platforms, ensuring stakeholder communication.
  5. Collaborate with Retail, Lubricants, B2B, and SFS teams to plan digital marketing campaigns and maintain social media presence.
  6. Set appropriate digital strategies aligned with TotalEnergies' overall strategy, measure campaign performance, and optimize based on KPIs.
  7. Identify industry trends, brainstorm growth strategies, and incorporate new technologies.
  8. Evaluate customer experience across channels to improve engagement.
  9. Monitor website traffic, analyze visitor data, and implement traffic-increasing strategies.

HSEQ Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and legal requirements, promote a safe working environment, and contribute to HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies.

Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Corporate Communication, or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of digital marketing experience.
  3. Strong networking skills internally and externally.
  4. Experience managing digital products through all lifecycle stages, including Agile methodologies.
  5. Up-to-date with latest online marketing trends and measurement techniques.
