Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Purpose of the job: Together with the Marketing Manager, assist in developing, implementing, and executing a Digital Marketing Strategy for the hotel. Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure ROI. Design and propose cost-effective digital marketing campaigns. Monitor and evaluate ROI. Negotiate best prices from agencies and suppliers. Manage contracts and relationships.
Customer Service: Delighted Customers: Ensure campaigns are aligned to target audiences. Plan, execute, and manage digital campaigns across various channels. Oversee content creation and distribution. Monitor guest feedback on digital platforms. Ensure alignment with company strategy and values. Ensure all collateral appeals to target audiences and aligns with the brand. Implement innovative ideas to enhance brand communication.
Processes: Ensure efficient digital brand communication strategies. Design, implement, and improve digital marketing processes. Maintain stakeholder relationships. Manage digital platforms and programs. Oversee PPC campaigns. Manage TrustYou account and respond to reviews. Measure effectiveness of interventions. Oversee creation of digital publications, ensuring legal compliance.
Learning and Growth: Take responsibility for personal learning and development. Use guest feedback to improve service standards. Give and receive feedback.
General Knowledge and Responsibilities: Have thorough knowledge of hotel services. Maintain high standards of service, appearance, and social skills. Collaborate harmoniously with all departments. Attend training and workshops. Be familiar with policies, procedures, and emergency protocols. Ensure brand standards are maintained. Perform duties as instructed by supervisor.
Qualifications: A Marketing Diploma/Degree with specialization in Digital Marketing. Hotel experience preferred (2+ years). Excellent communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and digital marketing software. Ability to develop relationships. Servant leadership and teamwork. Passion for hospitality and travel. Strong organizational and planning skills. Creative, innovative, and forward-thinking. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
