Duties & Responsibilities

ENVIRONMENT :

A proudly South African car rental company with over 36 years of industry experience is seeking a dynamic and personable marketing manager to manage the marketing of motorhome and 4x4 vehicle rentals from their Johannesburg offices. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing marketing campaigns and be willing to do the actual work to get the job done. They should be comfortable with daytoday marketing activities and longterm strategy thriving under tight deadlines and changing needs. DUTIES :

Objectives of this Role :

  • Develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Lead the of marketing programs from start to finish leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Analyse customer insights consumer trends market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create maintain and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract critical insights for future campaign development and gotomarket strategy complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Partner with email performance marketing and web teams to design test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.

Responsibilities :

  • Working with the creative team developing creative briefs and guiding creative direction to meet advertising and publicfacing communications objectives including print digital and video assets.
  • Conceptualise and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touchpoints establish budget guidelines participate in events document business processes and provide additional sales support.
  • Events from organising to setup.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies increase customer conversions and generate more qualified leads.
  • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimise accordingly.
  • Project manage service providers.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs strategies and budgets.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Analytical knowledge of platforms such as Hotjar and Google Analytics.
  • A bachelors degree in marketing business or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Strong project management multitasking and decisionmaking skills.
  • Metricsdriven marketing mind with an eye for creativity.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
  • Perform under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Established press and media contacts will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of AutoSLM Keyloop (CDK) and portals like Autotrader and will also be beneficial.
