How you'll role
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the Head of Marketing to devise and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy and solutions to support the company's commercial strategy.
You are the ideal candidate if you possess a robust digital marketing background and are open to supporting various tasks within the marketing department, including material procurement, inventory management, and event coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Establish a digital marketing strategy, including social media, aligned with the overall marketing strategy for each product/service and the overall brand.
- Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and generate leads.
- Ensure all content is accurate and error-free, proofreading promotional materials, social media, digital content, and other marketing elements.
- Approve all marketing documentation in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
- Manage digital platforms including:
- Website maintenance
- Chatbot functionality
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Google Analytics and Google AdWords campaigns
- Google My Business
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Track and report on digital marketing activities periodically to optimize efforts and ROI.
- Continuously optimize the website, social media, and SEO to generate quality leads and conversions.
- Oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring objectives are met within budget.
- Research new trends and technologies in digital marketing and recommend beneficial adoptions.
- Conduct competitor and industry analysis to keep the company's products/services at the forefront of digital advertising.
- Develop social media content, both paid and organic, aligned with marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Manage community engagement.
- Assist with external stakeholder campaigns for effective execution.
- Handle supplier invoices, quotes, and reconciliations.
- Update marketing systems with current materials.
- Organize events, exhibitions, and congresses, including logistics and stand management.
- Maintain stock of marketing materials and distribute promotional items as needed.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom or BSc (Hons) degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
- 3-4 years of marketing/industry experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook Ad Manager.
- Experience with Hootsuite.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proactive, initiative-taking, and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Package & Remuneration
R30,000 - R38,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
