How you'll role

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the Head of Marketing to devise and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy and solutions to support the company's commercial objectives.

You are the ideal candidate if you possess a robust digital marketing background and are open to supporting various tasks within the marketing department, including material procurement, inventory management, and event coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Establish a digital marketing strategy, including social media, aligned with the overall marketing strategy for each product/service as well as the overall brand.
  • Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and generate leads, working closely with the Head of Marketing.
  • Ensure all content created is accurate and error-free by proofreading promotional materials, social media posts, digital content, and other marketing elements.
  • Responsible for final approval of all marketing documentation alongside the Head of Marketing.
  • Maintain and optimise digital platforms such as the company website, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), Google My Business, and oversee SEO efforts.
  • Utilise tools like Google Analytics and Google AdWords to track and report on digital marketing performance, making recommendations for optimisation.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget to ensure objectives are met within financial parameters.
  • Identify new trends and technologies in digital marketing, recommending the adoption of those most beneficial.
  • Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to keep the company's digital advertising at the forefront.
  • Create relevant social media content, both paid and organic, aligned with marketing strategies and campaign briefs.
  • Oversee community management and engagement.
  • Assist with external stakeholder collaborations to ensure effective campaign execution.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as checking and approving supplier invoices, submitting quotes, and maintaining updated marketing materials systems.
  • Organise events and exhibitions, including bookings, logistics, and on-site management.
  • Maintain adequate stock of marketing materials and distribute promotional items as needed.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • BCom or BSc (Hons) degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms and advertising tools like Facebook Ad Manager and Hootsuite.
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and proactive initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Package & Remuneration

R30,000 - R38,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
