Role Overview

To deliver a comprehensive, 5-week in-person training programme for SMEs (HDPs), focused on harnessing the power of digital marketing tools to boost their online presence and convert customers online.

Trainers will guide participants in creating tailored digital marketing roadmaps, launch multi-channel campaigns, analyse performance metrics, and integrate digital tools into their business operations. The role requires facilitating hands-on workshops, aligning with the programme's structured learning outcomes, and equipping SMEs with actionable skills to achieve measurable business growth.

Main duties
  • Facilitate Interactive, In-person Workshops Covering Business Strategy & Digital Foundations, Customer Relationships & Customer Journey Mapping, Crafting Effective Marketing Campaigns, Harnessing the power of AI to boost Productivity & Marketing, Effective Leadership as an SME & How to create a Business Pitch, How to utilise Google tools to deliver actionable insights.
  • Assessing individual and group learning needs to tailor instructional methods accordingly.
  • Implement diverse training techniques to accommodate various learning styles and ensure comprehension.
  • Offer constructive feedback to participants to support their ongoing development.
  • Collaborate With Programme Leadership by working closely with the Programme Manager and the Talent Lead, participating in regular meetings, and integrating feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor And Report On Participant Progress by developing assessment tools and providing detailed post-session reports.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications or certifications in digital marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering training programmes focused on SME developed in digital marketing, ads optimisation, customer engagement, marketing.
  • Proficiency in Google tools (e.g., Analytics, Merchant Center, AI-driven advertising tools).
Technical Proficiency
  • Be comfortable using online delivery tools such as Google Meets, Slido and presentation tools.
  • Proficient in navigating digital tools and platforms.
Desired
  • Masters degree and advanced certifications in Digital Marketing.
  • Experience working with SMEs or within emerging markets.
  • Certification in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or other relevant marketing tools.
  • Certifications in adult learning or instructional design, such as CPTM or ATD.

Conditions of work
  • Location: Trainers are required to deliver in-person workshops in Johannesburg or Pretoria, South Africa.
  • Schedule: The training programme spans 5 consecutive weeks, during standard business hours.

Each cohort will consist of approx. 15 SMEs, targeting business owners, managers, and key decision-makers seeking to enhance their digital marketing skills, customer engagement strategies, and business productivity through technology.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview if successful.
