Job description

Our client is looking for a Digital Director (Digital Advisory) who will work closely with clients on their Digital Transformation journey.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in Technology Delivery and Sales Delivery within the Digital Transformation space, with a strong technical IT consulting background.

• Drive and implement strategy, revenue generation, and business growth for Digital Advisory.
• Manage and deliver client engagements, and develop sales and practice areas.
• Work with leading clients and their executive teams to design innovative business solutions, plan the transition to future business models, and establish transformation programs, products, and services that drive growth and long-term value.
• Possess experience or knowledge of emerging markets and new technologies, with the ability to adapt across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set strategy and ensure delivery excellence for technology solutions.
• Lead sales and business development efforts in both public and private sectors.
• Develop business cases.
• Oversee product development.
• Manage stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure quality management.
• Manage budgets and financials, including running a profit and loss account.
• Advise clients on their projects and digital initiatives.

Required Expertise:

• Senior level experience (Practice Lead, Manager, Associate Director, Director, etc.).
• 10+ years of experience in IT.
• 8+ years overseeing IT teams and technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems.
• Solid knowledge of relevant coding languages and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Honours Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications, training, or courses.
• Matric qualification.
