A leading agency in South Africa is seeking a Digital Content & Social Media Strategist. The Role:
The Digital Content & Social Media Strategist is responsible for driving brand visibility, engagement and community growth through impactful social media content and visual storytelling. This role manages organic social media channels creating, scheduling and optimising content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook while ensuring all visual assets align with brand standards.
They repurpose long-form content into digestible, engaging formats, support basic video editing, and collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to ensure consistency and performance. With a stong foundation in graphic design and a data-driven mindset, the strategist continuously tracks performance metrics, refines content strategies and identifies creative opportunities for community engagement and brand amplification.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Organic Social Media Management
Monitor social channels dailyresponding to comments, mentions, and messages while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Track content performance (engagement, reach, saves, shares) to inform future content strategies.
Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation
