Job description

The Practise Lead will drive and implement strategy, revenue generation, and business growth for the Digital Advisory. Focus on managing and delivering client engagements, as well as sales and practice development. The Practise Lead will work with leading clients and their executive teams to design and define innovative business solutions to respond to disruption, plan the transition from current to future business models, and establish transformation programs, products, and services that drive growth and deliver long-term value.

You will collaborate with partners across the firm and geographies to ensure a holistic, cross-functional, and transformative approach.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Sets Strategy and Drives Delivery Excellence for Technology Solutions
    • Lead clients through end-to-end design and delivery of holistic, business-aligned technology solutions.
    • Own the delivery of enterprise-level technology programs, managing requirements, strategies, architectures, and risks.
    • Understand technical interlinks between offerings to enhance market presence.
    • Recommend solutions with a holistic view, aligning technology with business strategy and industry issues.
    • Anticipate risks and opportunities, defining mitigation strategies.
    • Build executive support and organizational buy-in for programs.
    • Establish a strong industry and domain reputation as a subject matter expert.
    • Stay current on market trends and regulations, advising clients accordingly.
  2. Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and engage potential clients and partners, leveraging relationships and building new ones.
    • Support sales efforts through customer segmentation and profiling.
    • Grow client footprint by pursuing new clients and opportunities.
    • Represent BDO at industry forums and events, showcasing capabilities.
    • Create proposals and presentations to nurture opportunities and partnerships.
    • Prepare documentation for RFPs.
    • Use industry data to identify trends and build a sales pipeline aligned with targets.
    • Support marketing strategies and initiatives.
  3. Business Case Development
    • Contribute to product vision and roadmap aligned with company strategy and market opportunities.
    • Communicate vision and roadmap to stakeholders for buy-in.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and set priorities.
    • Continuously improve products and services based on feedback and analytics.
  4. Product Development Oversight
    • Participate in solution design, recommending innovative, scalable solutions.
    • Guide user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business needs.
    • Define success criteria and validate functionality post-development.
  5. Stakeholder Management
    • Manage relationships with external clients to grow profitable accounts.
    • Contribute ideas to digital transformation initiatives.
    • Report on team performance, project status, and innovations.
    • Engage with audit teams to identify digital solutions for pain points.
    • Provide insights on new technologies and liaise between stakeholders to ensure solutions are practical and beneficial.
  6. Budget Management
    • Prepare forecasts and manage budgets for the Digital Advisory unit.
    • Optimize expenditure and ensure profitability.
    • Manage client accounts within budget and profitability targets.
    • Guide managers on client account management regarding budgets.
