Purpose of this role: The Practice Lead will drive and implement strategy, revenue generation, and business growth for Digital Advisory. Focus areas include managing and delivering client engagements, as well as sales and practice development. The Practice Lead will work with leading clients and their executive teams to design innovative business solutions in response to disruption, define transition journeys from current to future business states, and establish transformation programs, products, and services that foster growth and deliver long-term value.
You will collaborate with partners across the firm and geographies to ensure a holistic, cross-functional, and transformative approach.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Sets Strategy and Drives Delivery Excellence for Technology Solutions: Lead clients through end-to-end design and delivery of holistic, business-aligned technology solutions. Own enterprise-level technology programs, including requirements, strategies, architectures, and risk management. Understand interlinks between sub-offerings to enhance market presence. Recommend solutions based on a holistic view, aligning with business strategy and industry issues. Anticipate risks and opportunities, and define mitigation strategies. Build executive support and organizational buy-in. Establish a reputation as a subject matter expert and stay current on market trends and regulations.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and engage potential customers and partners, leveraging existing relationships and building new ones. Support sales efforts through customer segmentation and profiling. Grow client footprint by hunting new opportunities. Represent BDO at forums, lead proposals, and prepare RFP documentation. Use industry data to identify trends and build a sales pipeline. Support marketing strategies.
- Business Case Development: Contribute to product vision and roadmap aligned with company strategy and market opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and priorities. Continuously improve product experiences based on feedback and analytics.
- Product Development Oversight: Participate in solution design, recommend scalable and sustainable solutions, and guide User Acceptance Testing. Define success criteria and validate solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external clients, contribute ideas for digital transformation, and report on team performance. Engage with audit teams to identify digitization opportunities. Act as liaison to ensure solutions are practical and beneficial.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for the Digital Advisory unit, ensuring expenditures align with approved budgets and profitability targets. Guide managers in client account management regarding budgets.
