Job summary

First Degree Recruitment is assisting a professional truck workshop in Limpopo to recruit a qualified Diesel Truck Technician. The successful candidate will service, repair and maintain diesel trucks, diagnose faults, and work to manufacturer standards in a corporate dealership environment.

We require 4–5 years’ experience with brands like Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Isuzu or Hino, and a Code 14 licence is advantageous. A clear criminal record and references are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Diesel Technician with a Trade Certificate.
• Mechanical or Diesel Engineering qualification would be advantageous.
• Must have 4 to 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Diesel Truck Technician.
• Experience on Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Isuzu, Hino, UD, etc.
• Experience in a corporate commercial vehicle dealership or truck workshop.
• Valid SA Driver’s Licence – Code 14 advantageous.
• Clear criminal record and references.

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced Diesel Truck Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle dealership / truck workshop in Limpopo.We are looking for a technically skilled Diesel Technician with strong experience working on commercial trucks and a proven track record within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial diesel trucks.

• Diagnose mechanical and technical faults accurately.

• Carry out inspections and identify required repairs and maintenance.

• Perform engine, gearbox, braking and other mechanical repairs as required.

• Conduct preventative maintenance according to manufacturer and workshop standards.

• Ensure all repairs are completed correctly and to a high standard.

• Complete job cards and relevant workshop documentation accurately.

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.

• Ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently to minimize downtime.

• Comply with dealership, manufacturer and health & safety standards.

Requirements:
