Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and generator systems
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on-site and in the workshop
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
• Ensure that all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Occasionally travel to client sites (travel allowance provided where applicable)

Requirements :

• Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent) Essential
• Proven experience working with diesel generators (all sizes and brands)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and time management skills
