Job summary

Xelvin is seeking a skilled truck technician for an on-site role in the Netherlands. This is a 2-year contract with the potential for permanent employment, offering 40-hour weeks.

You will repair diesel heavy trucks from MAN, Volvo, Mercedes and Iveco, work in shifts, with a salary around €3400–€4300 gross per month plus visa sponsorship, relocation and housing support. The role requires 1–5 years of relevant experience, Afrikaans and English fluency, and willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• At least 1–5 years of relevant experience maintaining and repairing large trucks (diesel, heavy duty).
• Experience with MAN, Volvo, Mercedes, Iveco, etc.
• Experience with electrical diagnostic systems (On Board Diagnostics).
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Not very experienced (≤5 years) or EU citizenship required.

Location: The Netherlands (on-site), 2-year contract with potential of permanent employment, NOT project/freelance

Requirements for the role include:

• You have at least 1-5 years of relevant experience with maintaining and repairing large trucks (diesel, heavy duty);
• You have experience with MAN, Volvo, Mercedes, Iveco etc...
• You have some experience with electrical diagnostic systems (On Board Diagnostics);
• You are fluent in Afrikaans and English;
• You are not very experienced (5 years max experience) or have a European citizenship
• You are willing to work in shifts;

What do we offer?

• 2-year contract of 40 hours per week (with potential of long-term employment).
• 25 paid holidays a year (+ potential ADV days)
• Public holidays, with a maximum of 7 per year, which are paid by Xelvin.
• Holiday allowance of 8.33% (instead of 8,0%) over your total gross annual income. Paid each year in May.
• Overtime and shift allowance will be paid by Xelvin accordingly.
• Travel allowance of €0,23 per km, for the use of travelling to work and back home.
• The salary will be around €3400 - €4300 gross per month.
