Job summary

Sea Harvest at Saldanha Bay invites applications for a Diesel Fitting apprenticeship designed for a young unemployed individual. The program delivers practical training and COS components to build core diesel-fitting competencies.

Participants will enter a fixed-term contract for the training period and complete the Centre of Specialisation at TVET college, with potential pathways in the Fleet Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Preferably Youth
• Must have passed NTC3 (4 subjects) or NQF Level 4 or matriculated with Maths and Science OR Technical Matric
• Willing to work shifts and overtime as required
• Participation in psychometric testing is required
• Must successfully pass a medical examination

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and skills in Diesel Fitting.
• Enter into a fixed-term contract for the duration of the training.
• Complete Core experiential workshop training and COS programme at TVET college
