We're looking for new talent to boost our capacity as we embark on a series of exciting projects.

The role: We're looking for a talented and experienced senior design architect. You will be involved in the design from Stage 1 to Stage 4 on major projects that reflect dhk's leading reputation as a design-led studio. Your portfolio must showcase your ability to take a concept sketch and turn it into a fully expressed design, demonstrating innovative approaches and creative thinking from concept to completion.

Your experience: We will consider you if:

• You are a SACAP-registered Professional Architect with a minimum of ten years post-qualification experience.
• You can demonstrate a fine eye for design with creative flair and elegant articulation.
• You have led projects and managed teams, applying your extensive design skills to achieve sophisticated design outcomes.
• You have a sound understanding of technical and commercial feasibility.
• Your experience includes involvement in projects from design stage to construction, with a track record of working on complex, large-scale projects in various sectors.
• You can balance a strong aesthetic sensitivity with thorough technical knowledge.
• You have an intimate understanding of building systems and materials, alongside detailed knowledge of industry standards and codes.

Requirements:

Technical requirements:

• Fully proficient in Revit and BIM CDE. This is non-negotiable.
• A thorough understanding of collaboration techniques, modelling techniques, and Revit best practices is expected.

All interviewed candidates must undergo a Revit assessment and demonstrate proficiency in other Autodesk software.
