Job summary

PBT Group is seeking an Intermediate DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative tech team delivering enterprise cloud solutions and modern software delivery practices. You will automate build, test and deployment processes and drive CI/CD improvements across AWS-based infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years in DevOps or Cloud roles, strong automation skills, and AWS certification is advantageous. The role focuses on scalable, secure environments and continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• 4–7 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps practices and automation.
• Experience in Agile software delivery environments.
• AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Automate software build, testing and deployment processes.
• Improve deployment reliability, efficiency and release quality through automation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes and engineering standards.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning cloud resources.
• Support scalable, secure and highly available cloud environments.
• Collaborate on cloud architecture and infrastructure improvements.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker.
• Support Kubernetes (K8s) environments and container orchestration.
• Assist development teams with application deployments and platform optimisation.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch.
• Perform root cause analysis on production incidents.
• Support application stability and performance optimisation.
