Placements24 is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our Rustenburg-based infrastructure team. The role focuses on enhancing CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud reliability for our enterprise software stack.

You will collaborate with development and operations to automate workflows, implement monitoring, and uphold security and scalability in a fast-growing environment. On-site at Rustenburg, you will be involved in incident response and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code principles and tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
