Placements24 is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer specialized in CI/CD pipelines for our Centurion client. You will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD infrastructure to speed up releases and improve reliability across applications.

You will automate builds, tests and deployments with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or CircleCI; manage IaC, monitoring, and security, while collaborating closely with development and operations teams in a hybrid Centurion office.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven DevOps Engineer experience focused on CI/CD.
• Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or CircleCI.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
• Automate build, testing, and deployment processes using scripting and CI/CD tools.

• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application health and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focused on CI/CD.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
