Job summary

Optimal Growth Technologies is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a SAS AML Platform within a regulated financial services environment. The role focuses on platform reliability, CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, and application support from offices in Johannesburg or Cape Town.

You will work on enabling robust, secure pipelines, scalable deployments, and efficient incident response while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet strict regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Strong Linux/Unix administration; Docker and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform reliability for SAS AML Platform within a regulated environment.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure as code.
• Provide ongoing application support and incident management.

Contract Opportunity | DevOps Engineer – SAS AML Platform

Location: Johannesburg or Cape Town

Duration: 12 Months

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a critical SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Platform within a regulated financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for platform reliability, CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, and application support.

Key Requirements

• 3–7+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) Strong Linux/Unix administration skills Docker and Kubernetes experience Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates) Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Experience in financial services or regulated environments Knowledge of SAS AML, SAS Viya, AML/Fraud systems advantageous
