ABOUT THE ROLE

The DevOps Engineer at Mondia Group will play a pivotal role in defining, testing, implementing, and monitoring DevOps processes. The engineer will primarily work with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities :
  1. Work with cloud engineering and development teams to create effective CI/CD implementations, and help configure and maintain them.
  2. Proactively monitor and resolve issues in the development lifecycle.
  3. Support senior engineers in integrating, configuring, deploying, and managing centralized cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, OS, containers).
  4. Ensure compliance with IT security standards and industry best practices.
  5. Assist with release management of new software into the production environment.
  6. Troubleshoot security-related issues and assist in incident management.
  7. Implement and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  8. Maintain the availability of tools supporting SCM and release management, including source control, CI, and change management.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable features that improve developer productivity, environment monitoring, and self-healing capabilities.
  10. Work across teams to share capabilities and ensure platform availability and performance, aiming for 99.9% SLA.
  11. Support services using DevOps, CI/CD, and ITIL principles for effective operations.
  12. Participate in on-call rotations.
ABOUT YOU :

The ideal candidate demonstrates high ownership, critical thinking, agility, and excellence in service delivery and problem-solving. Experience in the mobile digital entertainment industry is a plus.

Other qualifications include :
  • BSc degree in Engineering or IT-related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools and automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with at least two cloud environments, with AWS expertise being mandatory.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS networking services, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and AWS IAM.
  • Experience in automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, infrastructure-as-code (preferably with TypeScript AWS CDK), and cloud security architecture.
  • Knowledge of GitLab, SSO solutions, and scripting languages (TypeScript, Java, Python, Bash).
  • Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and orchestration tools.
  • Strong Linux OS skills and familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic and OpenSearch.
  • Agile working experience, multitasking ability, and strong automation skills.
  • AWS certifications are highly desirable; security certifications are a plus.
