Job summary

JobCubby seeks a DevOps Engineer to automate and streamline the software delivery lifecycle, manage AWS-based infrastructure, and ensure system reliability and security. You'll design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, and collaborate across development, testing and operations teams to accelerate deployments.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and ongoing evaluation of new tech to improve efficiency and uptime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric Certification and a Bachelor's (RHCE / ISO 27001 / PCI) is a plus but not required
• High level of proficiency in Linux based OS
• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) Associated Certified is a must have
• Containers (Docker + Kubernetes)
• Pipelines (Jenkins/Gitlab CI)
• Proficiency in a scripting language and application language: Bash, Python, PHP, Perl, Java, Go
• Proven IaC experience in SaltStack, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
• Web Servers (Apache, Nginx, fpm, node)
• Load Balancers Experience
• Knowledge of Database technologies: AWS RDS (Maria/MySQL)
• NoSql DBs Redis/mongo
• Replication technologies
• Experience in Networking: OSI, AWS TGW and basic on prem OSI model
• Queues - RabbitMQ
