Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance IT infrastructure and deployment processes in Durban. You will work with development and operations teams to automate, improve performance, and ensure high availability for our services.

You will design CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/CloudFormation, monitor systems, and work with Docker/Kubernetes in a hybrid Durban-based role with opportunities for learning and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
