Job description

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for automating manual tasks, and for building and deploying code and data to enable continuous integration and deployment frameworks.

What will you be doing as a DevOps Engineer at Elixirr Digital?

1. Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure to support enterprise-grade applications
2. Monitor cloud resources and applications to ensure high availability and troubleshoot proactively
3. Implement security best practices and compliance policies across all cloud services and platforms
4. Create and maintain CI/CD environments to facilitate agile development
5. Develop and maintain Kubernetes and Docker clusters for container orchestration
6. Work with modern data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake for data processing, analytics, and integration
7. Research, recommend, and implement new technologies
8. Identify solutions for requirements not covered by current conventions
9. Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and product owners to analyze, design, and implement software functionalities

Competencies and skills required:

• Strong understanding of DevOps & CI/CD principles to increase speed and quality
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
• Understanding of PaaS
• Experience managing AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake
• Extensive Linux knowledge
• Experience with web servers (NGINX, Apache2)
• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, TravisCI, CircleCI, BitbucketPipelines
