Job summary

Parvana is seeking an experienced iOS developer for a remote role based in South Africa. The candidate will contribute to a meaningful product by participating in design discussions, user testing and product strategy, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.

Responsibilities include unit testing, bug fixes, performance improvements and line management of junior developers. Strong Swift knowledge, OOP, UI/UX principles and CI tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Swift.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and Object-Oriented Programming.
• iOS UI/UX design principles, patterns and best practices.
• Auto Layout, Storyboards and XIBs.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environments and Jira.
• Understanding of build processes and CI tooling (Bitrise, Fastlane).
• Experience with Instruments and advanced debugging.
• App Store Connect and release processes.
• Unit/UI testing with XCTest and EarlGrey.
• Knowledge of SwiftUI, StoreKit and Core Animation.
