iMasFinance Co-operative (Ltd) is seeking an experienced Developer to join the IT Solutions Development team in Centurion. You will code, debug, test, and troubleshoot across the application lifecycle, contribute to system architecture, DevOps, and cloud initiatives within a financial services context.

The role requires collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience in financial services.
• Honours Degree in Information Technology is advantageous.
• Azure Certification is advantageous.
• AWS Certification is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and improve software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and defect prevention activities.
• Design scalable software applications and technical specifications.
• Support application deployments, production support, and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain DevOps code and assist with infrastructure maintenance.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support to users and manage assigned support tickets.
• Contribute to organisational standards, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete performance and development plans and participate in learning activities

About this position

iMasFinance, a financial services Cooperative, is looking for a Developer.

This position reports to the IT Solutions Development Manager and is responsible for coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process as well as designing and developing software applications. The role also contributes to system architecture, DevOps activities, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is suited to an experienced software developer who can deliver end-to-end application development, contribute to cloud and DevOps initiatives, support business transformation, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders within a financial services environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or 6–8 years of relevant Developer experience (preferably within Financial Services).
• Honours Degree in Information Technology (advantageous).
• Azure Certification (advantageous).
• AWS Certification (advantageous).
