Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee dispatch activities, including packing, storing, and shipping hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and handle customs/export documentation.
3. Manage a dedicated warehouse team to meet delivery deadlines.
4. Oversee courier tracking, third-party collections, and special delivery instructions.
5. Support inventory control, labeling, and segregation of expired and specialized waste.
6. Continuously improve workflows and maintain a safe, tidy warehouse environment.
7. Train, develop, and appraise team members, conducting regular check-ins.
8. Handle holiday, absence, and HR administration for your team.

Qualifications

1. Relevant qualification (Matric / NQF Level 4 or equivalent); Logistics / Warehousing is a plus.
2. Solid experience in Chemicals, FMCG, Distribution, or Supply Chain environments.
3. Excellent organizational and people management skills.
4. Strong understanding of handling and transporting dangerous/hazardous goods.
5. Experience with inventory software systems and critical metric tracking.
6. A calm, proactive attitude with problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
