Experienced Assistant and Store Managers Needed

We are seeking experienced Assistant and Store Managers for a large food retailer. The main purpose of the role is to provide customers with a world-class shopping experience, making them feel special by maintaining exceptional store standards, managing an efficient store, and ensuring colleagues feel proud and valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure store operations are legal and safe
  • Provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat business
  • Maintain competitive pricing
  • Motivate and develop colleagues, fostering a positive work environment
  • Achieve sales targets, increase customer count and basket size
  • Manage budgets related to efficiencies, salaries, waste, and shrinkage
  • Manage and develop staff, including personal development
  • Adhere to all legislation and company policies
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Retail management diploma (advantageous)
  • 5-6 years of experience as a Store Manager in FMCG retail or warehouse environment
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including non-trading hours
