DESIGN QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER

We have an exciting new opportunity for passionate individuals to join our client's team in the e-commerce industry as a Design Quality Control Officer. The successful candidate will proofread and ensure the accuracy for all creative materials, including design and written content across printed product labels and all digital assets. This role requires a keen eye for design, strong copy-writing skills, and general knowledge of compliance on advertising platforms.

As the Design QC Officer, the candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining brand credibility by reviewing, refining, and ensuring consistency in all content.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design Quality Control (QC)

  1. Review all creative materials, ensuring our brand guidelines are met, attention to detail in design, and consistency in designs.
  2. QC all digital copy assets across Amazon and other platforms, including product listings, A+ Content, Storefronts, and advertising materials.
  3. Maintain the internal style guide and compliance checklist to ensure uniformity across all content.
  4. Cross-check design elements for text clarity, alignment, and overall visual harmony within packaging and digital layouts.
  5. Work closely with the Art Director to review labels, packaging, and creative assets for text clarity and design alignment.
  6. Provide feedback on Click-Up and Page Proof to highlight any quality discrepancies.

Quality Control in Copywriting

  1. Edit and refine product descriptions, bullet points, and key features for listings to enhance readability, clarity, and conversion rates.
  2. Proofread marketing copy for A+ Content, infographics, and brand storytelling.
  3. Proofread all creative materials, ensuring our brand guidelines, accuracy in ingredients, supplement facts, claims, and descriptions.
  4. Fact-check health and wellness claims to ensure they are scientifically accurate and legally compliant.

Compliance

  1. Monitor listing policies to ensure product descriptions and claims remain compliant.
  2. Work closely with the compliance team to update copy as needed based on changing FDA/FTC guidelines.
  3. Verify that all copy follows platform guidelines, avoids prohibited claims, and adheres to FDA/FTC regulations.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  1. Graphic Design qualification
  2. Marketing and/or Digital Advertising degree or similar
  3. Copywriting certificate or course
  4. Project Management is a bonus

Experience

  1. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the health, wellness, or e-commerce industry.
  2. Strong proofreading and copy-editing skills with attention to detail.
  3. Copywriting experience, particularly for e-commerce.
  4. Familiarity with Amazon compliance rules and best practices for product listings and marketing materials will be beneficial but not essential.
  5. Understanding of FDA/FTC regulations related to supplement labeling and advertising will be beneficial but not essential.
  6. Ability to fact-check product claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  7. Ability to learn fast, as learning about Amazon Compliance and FDA/FTC regulations will be necessary.
  8. Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and ClickUp.
