Are you a dynamic and skilled Civil Technologist eager to tackle complex engineering challenges? We seek a detail-oriented professional to join our team and contribute to high-impact transportation projects.

Core Accountabilities:

• Assist the project leader on various tasks and coordinate interdisciplinary input on large-scale road infrastructure projects.
• Serve as assistant design specialist for geometrics, drainage, or pavement engineering on large projects.
• Independently undertake geometric, drainage, and/or pavement design for projects of various scales.
• Prepare technical design reports for projects of various sizes.
• Develop detailed construction cost estimates based on COTO specifications.
• Prepare contract documentation following FIDIC contracts and COTO specifications.
• Oversee development of detailed construction drawings for projects of various scales.
• Coordinate with environmental, OHS, geotechnical, traffic, and structural specialists.
• Assist with contract administration duties.
• Support senior staff in business development activities, including client liaison and tender compilation.

Qualification Requirements:

• Based in Cape Town; residency in the area is essential.
• BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering (NQF 7+); MSc/MEng is advantageous.
• Registration with ECSA as PrEng/PrTech.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D or Civil Designer; familiarity with Rubicon is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Bill Software; experience with BIM is a plus.
