As a fast-growing company, we are expanding into the European and Australian markets, and we are looking for passionate and skilled Design Engineers to join our team in Worcester.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing basic engineering deliverables including conceptual designs, calculations, reports, drawings, and bills of material.
• Interacting with market enquiries and technical specifications on confirmed projects.
• Conducting research, interaction, and negotiations required to provide engineering deliverables.
• Engineering product design & research and development work.
• Creating fabrication drawings.
• Performing design calculations according to international design codes.
• Proof testing and component verification.
• Implementing quality management systems.
• Troubleshooting design/manufacturing issues.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• MEng / MScEng / BEng / BScEng in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-6 years relevant experience.
• 3D CAD experience with SolidWorks or Creo Parametric (AutoCAD experience is an advantage).
• Technical expertise with FEA platforms; experience with Abaqus is an advantage.
• Basic scripting ability in Python.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player and quick learner.
