  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for design and production optimisation.
  • Assist fabrication and machine shop personnel with technical interpretation of drawings.
  • Ensure proper creation, maintenance, and accuracy of Bills of Materials (BoMs).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Design, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design or draughting, particularly in pump manufacturing or heavy industrial engineering.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Autodesk packages and drawing management systems (Vault experience preferred).
  • Hands-on knowledge of ERP integration with production data and BoM structures.
  • Familiarity with 3D scanning and CAD-based modelling.
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is advantageous.
  • Previous involvement in machine shop environments and foundry processes preferred.
