Qualifications

• 6-7 years of experience in subsea structural installation/drafting.
• Experience in offshore oil and gas industry, preferably in IMR disciplines.
• Fluent in English.

Global Edge is collaborating with an EPC company in West Africa for a Senior Engineering Draughtsman role. This is a great opportunity to work on new offshore projects!

Senior Engineering Draughtsman

Responsible for developing project drawings aligned with industry standards and client requirements. Conducts 3D model studies for design feasibility and clash analysis. Promotes a strong HSEQ culture and ensures adherence to local codes.

A Full time position based in a West African Country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop project drawings based on client and internal procedures.
• Prepare project/fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
• Oversee design and liaise with fabricators for manufacturing.
• Maintain controlled drawing register and provide progress updates.
• Mentor junior personnel in drafting activities.
• Provide input for project drafting scopes and estimates.

Stakeholder Interaction:

Internal: Engineering team and management

External: Clients, Subcontractors, and 3rd Party Service Providers

Qualifications:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven offshore oil and gas industry experience, preferably in IMR disciplines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor.
• Minimum 6-7 years in subsea structural installation/drafting.
• Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
