Job description

Our client has an opportunity available for a Deputy Responsible Pharmacist based in Meyersdal.

Requirements:

  1. 1-year Regulatory Affairs or Quality Assurance experience - preferred.
  2. Exposure to production would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the screening application is submitted within the stipulated time frame.
  2. Ensure that necessary variations are made to the registration dossier.
  3. Assist in the maintenance of all PPM’s and the implementation of any regulatory changes.
  4. Evaluate the regulatory impact of change control.
  5. Collect adverse event and drug safety data and report it to the global pharmacovigilance department.
  6. Ensure that persons being employed are appropriately registered with the Pharmacy Council.
  7. Take corrective measures in respect of deficiencies with regard to inspection reports of the Pharmacy Council or in terms of the Medicines Act.
  8. Ensure that unauthorized persons do not obtain access to medicines or scheduled substances.
  9. Ensure the safe and effective storage of medicine.
  10. Control the manufacturing and distribution of medicines or scheduled substances.
  11. Ensure compliance with Good Pharmacy Practice.
