Role Summary

The Deputy Head will assume a senior leadership role, ensuring strategic and effective academic leadership at Reddam House Constantia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as a professional Educator, demonstrating passion and a strategic plan for student and teacher development.
  2. Participate actively and supportively in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  3. Lead the team to achieve improved performance within a progressive environment.
  4. Support and lead various school events and stakeholder engagements.
  5. Establish and oversee academic timetables.
  6. Manage work schedules and monitor progress.
  7. Lead internal assessment processes.
  8. Design and implement a comprehensive academic reporting and support program.
  9. Lead the subject selection process.
  10. Assist Admissions in onboarding new families.
  11. Oversee the Academic Awards process.
  12. Manage the student portal (iSAMS) related to academic content.
  13. Ensure accurate record-keeping of academic data.
  14. Teach an academic subject at Matric level, as required.

  • Experience leading a high-performing team.
  • 3-5 years of leadership and management experience (advantageous).
  • University qualification.
  • Certified Teaching Status.
  • SACE accreditation.
