St James Primary School is a multi-faith, independent primary school affiliated with a worldwide family of schools, catering to pupils from Grade R to Grade 7.

We are looking to recruit a:

Deputy Head

Commencement Date: Based on the availability of the successful candidate

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of the CAPS curriculum
• SACE registered
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willing to adapt and grow

This position will include:

• Managing staff
• Overseeing implementation of the curriculum
• Designing, reviewing and implementing policies
• Responsible for safeguarding, health and safety and security
• Any other duties required by the Head
