We have an opportunity for a DEPUTY Factory Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support CEO, SNR Factory, and other Deputy Factory Managers as well as Junior Factory Managers in operational management and team development of all the factories.
  2. Excellent maintenance skills required.
  3. Recruitment, training, and development of personnel.
  4. Asset preservation through the development, implementation, and management of effective systems.
  5. Develop and implement best practices in all areas of the factory.
  6. Being a credible leader that develops and guides operational teams and individuals in achieving targets.
  7. Driving continuous improvements and waste elimination to reduce costs and improve quality.
  8. Product development to ensure sustained fashionable and value-for-money product ranges.
  9. Project management of capital projects.
  10. Development of new products and technology.
  11. Financial control of factory costs.
  12. Safety and risk management in terms of legislation.
  13. Sourcing of new local and international suppliers.
  14. Identification and development of future leaders in the business.
  15. Ensure the factory is focused on agreed key performance indicators.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Industrial or Metallurgist).
  2. Previous Millwright/Electrical Qualification will be advantageous but not a necessity.
  3. Min 5 - 10 years solid & traceable track record in a similar position.
  4. Preferred age range: 30 - 45 years of age.
