Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning : Assist in monitoring and evaluating the goals of the Institutional Student Governance Offices (ISGO) in line with the Division Student Affairs (DSA) and UFS's vision, mission, and values. Support integrated reporting across all campuses and engage with the Institutional Student Representative Council (ISRC) and student body. Ensure SRC participation in relevant forums, manage risks, support ISRC programs, address underlying issues driving protests, and contribute to DSA strategy development. Collaborate on leadership training and manage budgets responsibly.
  2. Project Management : Identify new student needs, conceptualize and implement relevant programs, support strategic projects, and evaluate their impact. Reinforce accountability systems, plan SRC elections, and ensure smooth operations.
  3. Policy Development : Identify and review policies, lead development and compliance, and represent ISGO in institutional committees. Review ISRC constitution and ISGO policies periodically, and lead HR processes for ISGO staff, promoting teamwork and staff development.
  4. Protest Management and Resolution : Act as liaison for peaceful protest resolution, collaborate with security, monitor communication channels, develop communication plans, facilitate dialogue, and advise university leadership on protests and solutions.

Inherent Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years relevant experience related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Experience within the higher education sector.
  • Knowledge of Student Governance and strategic frameworks.

Additional Information
