POSITION: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
CONTRACT: FULL-TIME FIXED-TERM CONTRACT

Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Financial administration is not limited to processing journal transfers, advances, claims, and requisitions.
- Invoicing of clients and reconciliation of debtors' age analysis,
- Preparation of monthly financial statements,
- Providing financial management support to the TuksSport department
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related qualification, should have accounting as a module
- 3 years of experience in Financial Administration
- 1 year of experience with Sage Pastel
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
- Relevant principles and procedures
- Proficient knowledge of IFRS
- Proficient knowledge of Value Added Tax (VAT)
- Proficient in data capturing
- Proficient technical competency of Sage Pastel
- Proficient technical competency of ERP Finance Systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Telephone & communication skills (English)
- Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe & Internet, and e- mail
ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of experience in Financial Administration
- 1 year of experience within a tertiary education environment using ERP Finance Systems
Please note this position includes an
all-inclusive remuneration package commensurate with the incumbent’s level of appointment, qualification, and experience.
The incumbent will be appointed on a fixed-term contract with the necessary performance clauses clearly stipulated.
