Job summary

Ubuntu Resource Management is seeking a qualified Dental Therapist for an established practice in Kokstad to deliver preventative and restorative oral healthcare. You will assess patient dental health, perform restorations, scaling, radiographs, and provide oral health education in line with HPCSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral examinations and assess patients' dental health.
• Diagnose and manage common oral health conditions within the scope of practice.
• Perform restorative procedures, including dental fillings.
• Carry out scaling, polishing, and preventative dental treatments.
• Perform extractions within the Dental Therapist scope of practice.
• Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Provide oral health education and preventative care advice to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with HPCSA regulations and infection control protocols.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience.
